  1. Would mate, just started to read your writing…

And I’m amazed. I love the harsh, pessimistic stain that effects Oscars narration. Such appeal that I didn’t even know that I was missing from my reading!

And huzzah for another Aussie author!

    1. Hey! Thank you kindly. And what a fantastic description. A pessimistic stain is exactly right. You’ve captured it perfectly. Hopefully you’ll enjoy my eBook series (first one on Amazon in about a month!), which takes this pessimism and begins to turn it, slowly, into optimism and happiness and some of the qualities Oscar, at least at the moment, lacks. It’s also based in Sydney so you can’t go wrong 😉

  2. Hmm… Optimism… I’m not sure if it’s legal for gen Y to enjoy that. 😛

I finished all of your stuff that’s available on Nifty at the moment, but I’ll definitely snatch up your book once it releases. (I have a broken ankle and am off work for 4 weeks. Champagne, porn and painkillers are my staple at the moment, so I devoured your work!)

My gut was churning when reading the final few chapters of Oscar. Somehow you’d made me fall in love with 3 complete cunts, but that’s probably related to my masochistic addiction to them. 😛 (and I kinda found a sick joy in a ginger getting used…)

    And also… #teammelbourne 😉

I’d love you to check out some of my writing on my WordPress if you ever get bored. Xo

    1. Haha tell me about it. What’s optimism?!

And thanks again. Super exciting to hear that you’ve read all my stuff and are looking forward to the books. I find it’s so easy to get wrapped up in my own writing that I forget there are real people out there enjoying it too. Makes me feel super proud 😀

Defnitely going to check out some of your writing. Count me in.

And, don’t you worry, Oscar will be heading to Melbourne at some point. It’s too beautiful a city not to include!

      1. Haha, well you’ve got me hooked mate!

And I’m pretty sure I saw a stripper called Optimism Prime once… Fucking bucks weekends. They’re more traumatic than storming Normandy, or watching Tori Spelling act.
