Thank you. It’s tricky getting the right balance without going to extremes with erotic violence so I appreciate your kind remarks. Truly.
As far as based on my life goes, it is (while still being fiction). The ideas and the scenarios in my writing I take from my life, but the characters and the settings are an amalgamation of men and places that I have known and still know.
This is so readers can hopefully read through an experienced perspective but fantasise how they want (without the narrative being too rigidly about me). Does that make sense? Or do I need a good night’s sleep first?
I guess I’ll find out in the morning …
